The terms and conditions under which we operate.
By accepting these terms, a binding agreement shall arise between you and The Bed & Breakfast Institute (referred to in this Privacy Statement as "we" or "BBI")
By accepting these terms you agree to pay the course fee ("Course Fee") for the course you have selected under this Student Agreement ("Course").
Upon receipt of the Course Fee, BBI agrees to:
1. supply to you all modules and assignments listed by BBI for your Course ("Course Materials");
2. mark and grade your assignments;
3. answer queries about your Course; and
4. issue a certificate upon successfully completing all assignments.
The Course Fee does not cover postage to BBI, nor any materials that are not listed as Course Materials for your Course. BBI notes that, depending on your particular Course, you may need to provide your own equipment in addition to the Course Materials at your cost. Subject to successful completion of all assignments and the Course Fee being paid in full, BBI will issue you with a diploma for your Course.
Course Materials will be available to you as you progress through the Course and submit your assignments. BBI reserves the right to withhold provision of Course Materials in the event that you fail to pay any part of the Course Fee as and when it becomes payable. If you are paying by instalments, you must pay all such instalments on or before the due date. If you pay the Course Fee in full, Course Materials will be made available to you as you progress through the Course and upon completing and submitting an assignment.
Irrespective of your progress through the Course, if you fail to pay any instalment by the due date, the total outstanding balance of the Course Fee will become immediately due and payable.
You may examine the first module and first assignment with absolutely no obligation for 7 days. If you decide for any reason whatsoever not to proceed, email The Bed & Breakfast Institute within the 7 day period for a full refund.
In the event of a student wanting to withdraw from the course, after 7 days, where payment has been received in full, or if BBI decide to no longer provide the course, students will be provided with all the course modules and assignments as fulfilment of BBI Student Agreement.
The Course Materials which BBI provides to you shall become your property. However, the content of the Course Materials, including copyright and all other such intellectual property rights contained therein, remain the property of BBI, Quivalent Pty Limited or a nominated third party. You may not reproduce any part of the Course Materials without the prior written consent of BBI.
This website is controlled, operated and maintained by Quivalent Pty Limited, Australia. Quivalent Pty Limited makes no representation that materials in and/or facilities or services offered through this website are available for use in other locations, or that they comply with any legal or regulatory requirements of such other locations. Those who choose to access this website do so at their own risk and on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, to the extent any local laws are applicable. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any dispute under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia and, by using this website, you hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for such purposes and waive any and all objections to jurisdiction or venue in such courts.
